Visit to Cobblestones Museum on Thursday

WOW!!!!

What an awesome day we had.
Even though the weather was a tad cold we still traveled to Cobblestones on Thursday morning to experience some of the things from yesteryear.
We were first divided into 3 groups and got to experience first hand a school lesson from the early 1900's, copper plate printing and a ride in an old car. After that we walked around the museum looking at how things were either the same or different compared to life today.
The start of our day.

Heading to the school room.

Time for lessons.

Our teacher from the "Olden Days"

In the printing room.

Riding in the car.

Look at the desks we had to sit at.

Des and the boys on a break.

Some surprising information was learnt!

It was a long lesson.

Tough times at school in the "Old Days"

It was interesting hearing about how newspapers used to be made.

We loved the car ride. Can we go all the way back to school in this car?

We had an awesome day and we would never have got to go without the support of all the wonderful parents who drove us there. Thanks Emma Hepburn, Heidi Andreawartha, Reagan Sherriff, Sonia Falloon, Emma and Nathan Robinson.
